VIENDOMOVIES PREMIERES THIS SATURDAY THE COMEDY CANALLAS

The movie tells the story of Joaquín, Brujo, and Luismi—three neighborhood scoundrels in their forties who reunite after twenty years. Brujo and Luismi remain jobless but always find some way to get by, while Joaquín has supposedly become an important and well‑known businessman. Or so he believes. At 47 years old, Joaquín still lives at his mother’s house, along with Brenda, his daughter and yo‑yo champion, and Chema, his brother, a welder and “Wing‑chun” master. Joaquín receives a notice that his house is being seized and must come up with the necessary money, but his friends’ ideas do not turn out as planned. Canallas stars professional actors such as Luis Tosar, Luis Zahera, and Miguel Herrán, as well as non-professional actors such as its lead, Joaquín González.
