MIAMI, FL., March, 2023 – ViendoMovies, the Spanish-language movie channel 24 hours a day and without commercial breaks, owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group), presents in March a cycle dedicated to Diego Peretti, one of the most versatile actors in Argentine cinema. Every Sunday in March, ViendoMovies schedules a movie starring this Spanish-language movie star. The titles are: Sin Hijos, Inicials S.G., La Noche Mágica and Mamá Se fue de Viaje. His versatility and sense of humor are confirmed in these entertaining movies that the channel presents on Sundays in March at 9 pm.

ViendoMovies is characterized by the coverage of events and festivals where Spanish cinema has a presence and its extensive library allows you to program this type of cycles that cover the entire range of artistic talent and productions in all genres. With the Diego Peretti cycle, ViendoMovies continues its support for Spanish-language cinema and its talents.

Diego Peretti, born in Argentina, began his professional career as a psychiatrist for years. During his college years he took acting classes as a "hobby", until he began to pursue his career as an actor in theaters, while doing his medical residency as a psychiatrist. With a filmography of more than 30 films, apart from television series, Peretti has 13 awards and 17 nominations in his film and acting career. Among them, Best Actor in the Platinum Awards, Best Actor in the Association of Film Chroniclers of Argentina, and Best Actor in a Miniseries or Telefilm in the Martín Fierro Awards.

The cycle begins with the film Sin Hijos. Released in 2015, it is about a loving father (Diego Peretti) divorced, with a 9-year-old girl, who meets a beautiful woman (Maribel Verdú) from his past who does not like children. It has three nominations to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Argentina. On Sunday, March 12, Initials S.G. is presented. A comedy about an aging Argentine, aspiring Serge Gainsbourg, who struggles to deal with a career he can't seem to get on track, an adventure he doesn't want and a crime he didn't intend to commit.

The cycle continues with La Noche Mágica, a film that tells the story of a quiet Christmas Eve that is interrupted when a thief breaks into a house. What he does not count on is the little daughter of the family, who mistakes him for Santa Claus and asks him to fulfill his Christmas wish list. The film has won an award for Best Feature Film at the Fribourg International Film Festival. To culminate, the film Mamá Se fue de Viaje is about what happens when mom is out of the picture. A working father taking care of four children while his mother is on vacation.
