SEMILLITAS LICENSES THE SERIES MINI HEROES OF THE FOREST

Miami, FL – Semillitas, the children’s animation pay-TV channel owned by SOMOSTV, a company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group, announced the signing of the rights to the popular series Mini Heroes of the Forest, which has premiered in highly competitive territories such as France (France TV) and Italy (RAI Kids). The series is aimed at preschool-aged children and joins the lineup of high-quality, internationally recognized animation programming offered by Semillitas. Semillitas is known for providing safe, educational entertainment, free of violence and commercials, promoting the values of the Latino community in the United States, Central America, Panama, and the Caribbean.

Mini Heroes of the Forest, set to premiere on the channel in January, joins a catalog of highly successful international series such as Musipaches, Maya the Bee, Angelina Ballerina, Strawberry Shortcake, Bob the Builder, Little People, Caillou, and Fireman Sam. Semillitas complements its offering with educational interstitials that celebrate the values, traditions, and festivities of Latin culture. Semillitas broadcasts its content in High Definition and includes Closed Captioning and Audio Description, which earned it the prestigious recognition Outstanding Achievement: Spanish Media Award granted by the American Council of the Blind.

Based on the books of the same name published by the French publisher Auzou, specialized in children’s topics and edited in more than 15 countries, Mini Heroes of the Forest is a 3D comedy and adventure series. Produced by Movimenti Production and MoBo, and co-produced by Zodiak Kids & Family France, the production consists of a total of 52 episodes, each 7 minutes long. The series tells the adventures of four small forest animals who have special powers. Gabin has the Rabbit Hug, capable of improving any situation; Gaston has the Bear Jump and Roll, which cheers everyone around him; Jade has the Fox Ear, which allows her to communicate with anyone; and Juliette has the Owl Eye, with which she protects and cares for her friends. At the end of the school day, the protagonists put on their secret costumes and discover the surprises the forest has in store for them.
