MIAMI, Fla. June 28, 2023 - ViendoMovies, the channel owned by SOMOSTV (a company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of the SOMOS Group), which programs the best originally produced in Spanish-language films, 24 hours a day and without commercial breaks, presents a cycle of renowned films with stellar casts in the month of July. The cycle includes talented actors such as Mario Casas, Maribel Verdú, Gael Garcia Bernal, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Ana de Armas, and Geraldine Chaplin, among others. The common theme of this cycle is the sensual tone of these productions, encompassing a variety of genres, including drama, adventure, comedy, and fiction. Additionally, the cycle represents a diversity of countries, all with a rich cinematic tradition in the Spanish-language film industry (Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Chile, and the Dominican Republic). The films are scheduled for the weekends in July, starting at 11 PM (EST).

"En Tu Piel" (Dominican Republic), directed by Matias Bize and starring Josue Guerrero and Eva Arias, is a film where two strangers have an intense casual encounter. After spending a night getting to know each other, they realize that what has developed between them is more than mere physical attraction, understanding that human relationships are far more complex than a simple exchange of caresses. This production is followed by the film "Reinos" (Chile), where Alejandro, a freshman student, and Sofia, a thesis student, meet at the university and build a relationship in which he falls in love while she only seeks to satisfy her desires. This film is directed by Pelayo Lira and stars Diego Boggioni and Daniela Castillo.

The cycle continues with "La Lengua del Sol" (Mexico), directed by Luis Gutierrez Arias and starring Flavia Atencio and Raúl Méndez. In this film, Ramiro and Emilia find themselves trapped in their house while the world awaits its end due to a phenomenon known as "the tongue of the sun." While locked away, they explore a side of their sexuality and decide to have a child before the apocalypse. Next, ViendoMovies presents "Me Quedo Contigo" (Mexico). In this film, Natalia is a young Spanish woman who arrives in Mexico to live with her boyfriend, who is away for work. That first weekend with her friends will unleash an unstoppable wave of violence. This production is directed by Artemio Narro and stars Beatriz Arjona.

The sensual film cycle presents one of the most famous Mexican films: "Y Tu Mama También" (Mexico/Spain). This award-winning film is funny, enjoyable, provocative, and a journey to discover Mexican intimacy in a road movie that reflects the sexual awakening of two teenagers. "Y Tu Mama También" features stellar performances by Diego Luna, Gael Garcia Bernal and Maribel Verdú, and is directed by Alfonso Cuarón. This unforgettable film is followed by "Habitación en Roma" (Spain). Nominated for the Goya Awards and winner of the Fotograma de Plata, this production portrays Alba and Natasha, who meet in an Italian hotel and instantly feel a strong attraction for each other. "Habitación en Roma" is directed by Julio Medem and stars Elena Anaya and Natasha Yarovenko.

"Joven y Alocada" (Chile), another film included in the cycle, is directed by Marialy Rivas and stars Felipe Pinto, Alicia Rodríguez, and Maria Gracia Omegna. It is a winner of the Sundance Film Festivaland the San Sebastian Film Festival. In this production, Daniela is a 17-year-old girl raised in the midst of a conservative family. Daniela experiences a traumatic night of excess and will try to redeem herself from her torrid teenage past, but she encounters a new obstacle: the emergence of her first unconventional love. The cycle continues with "Sangre en la Boca" (Argentina), where Ramón Alvia is a professional boxer who has won a few titles but is forty years old and at the end of his career. At the gym, he meets Débora, a young and vibrant girl. Succumbing to powerful seduction, he abandons his wife and confronts his manager. The film is starred by Leonardo Sbaraglia as Ramón Alvia and Eva De Dominici as Débora, directed by Hernán Belón.

The sensual cycle of ViendoMovies concludes with a group of films that include highly popular erotic comedies. "Mentiras y Gordas" (Spain) is a film directed by Alfonso Albacete and David Menkes, featuring the star Mario Casas, Yon González, Ana María Polvorosa, and the renowned Ana de Armas. It narrates the relationships of a group of young people immersed in a world of nightclubs and parties, whose lives intertwine in a whirlwind of sex, alcohol, and drugs. Another film in this sensual movie package is "Poliamor para Principiantes" (Spain), directed by Fernando Colomo and starring Karra Elejalde, María Pedraza, Quim Ávila, and Toni Acosta. In the film, Satur (Karra Elejalde) and Tina (Toni Acosta) are a married couple with a child. Manu falls in love with Amanda (María Pedraza) without knowing that Amanda practices polyamory. The comedy "Amor en Polvo" (Spain) tells the crazy story of Pablo and Blanca, who have decided to swap partners.

Finally, the cycle ends with "Diario de una Ninfómana" (Spain), directed by Christian Molina, based on Valérie Tasso's autobiographical novel and nominated for the Gaudi Awards. Val is an attractive woman with a comfortable financial situation and a great sexual curiosity. She turns sex into her way of life, through which she will find torturous love and experience extreme situations that make her suffer and rethink her life. The film has a stellar cast, starring Belén Fabra and Leonardo Sbaraglia, with performances by Llum Barrera and Geraldine Chaplin. Lastly, the successful film "Cumbia Callera" (Mexico) is presented, where three young people experience passions and dilemmas, wandering between the rugged slums and luxurious neighborhoods, intoxicated by the irresistible rhythm of "cumbia" Regiomontana. "Cumbia Callera" is starred by Fernanda García Castañeda, Oliver Cantú Lozano, and Andul Zambrano, directed by René Villarreal.
