ViendoMovies, the 24-hour channel of original cinema produced in Spanish, without commercial breaks and produced by SOMOSTV (a company part of SOMOS Group and chaired by Luis Villanueva), premieres this November a varied selection of films with Corazón de Mezquite (Mexico, 2019), Un Retiro para Enamorarse (Peru, 2023), La Inocencia (Spain, 2020) and El Cuaderno de Sara (Spain, 2018) reflecting the geographical breadth of Spanish-language cinema in countries that stand out for the quality of their cinema. At the same time, and as part of its mission, the channel offers a cycle with the actor Alex García, on Sundays in November at 9pm, with the films LITUS (Spain 2019), Hasta que la Boda nos Separe (Spain, 2020), La Punta del Iceberg (Spain, 2016) and Si yo Fuera Rico (Spain, 2019). The channel programs exclusive films of contemporary cinema in Spanish from all Spanish-speaking countries and stands out for a premium on-air presence, supporting the talent of cinema produced in Spanish. Corazón de Mezquite (Mexico, 2019) drama directed by Ana Laura Calderón. The story of Lucía, a girl who fights for her dream against her tradition and how she will manage to get closer to her father and find her place in her community. The channel also programs Un Retiro para Enamorarse (Peru, 2023), with director Jesús Alvarez Betancourt and starring Andrea Luna and Juan Carlos Torres. This comedy poses situations that occur when sometimes we feel that everything is lost, then love takes care of sending us a signal that changes our life forever. Another of the premieres this month is the film La Inocencia (Spain, 2020), a film nominated for the Goya Awards, winner of Gaudi Awards and the San Sebastián and Valladolid Festivals, directed by Lucia Alemany and starring Carmen Arrufat, Laia Marull and Sergi Lopez. This drama tells the story of Lis, a girl who dreams of becoming a circus artist and escaping from her town, even though she knows that to achieve it she will have to face her parents. Lis flirts with a boy, a few years older than her. When the neighbors start to whisper about this relationship, Lis is forced to keep it a secret, so that her parents do not find out. Finally, ViendoMovies premieres El Cuaderno de Sara, a drama directed by Norberto López Amado. The film has as its main theme the exposure of the war that is currently taking place in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The nature of this conflict is based on the system of new wars in which the parties involved in it are mainly based not on political interests in the first instance, but behind there is a bid for the obtaining and exploitation of certain resources.

In the month of November, ViendoMovies continues with its cycles of talent from Spanish cinema, this time celebrating the career of actor Alex García, on Sundays in November at 9pm. On these weekend days of November, the film LITUS (Spain 2019) is presented, a 2019 comedy-drama written by Marta Buchaca that adapts her homonymous play. The film is directed by Dani de la Orden and stars Álex García, Belén Cuesta, Adrián Lastra and Quim Gutiérrez. Litus is the story of Toni, who reunites his friends after the death of Litus. Toni has unexpected news: Litus left a farewell letter for each of them. What was supposed to be a meeting to talk about Litus, becomes the perfect occasion to discover the most intimate secrets and all the emotions. Part of the cycle is also Hasta que la Boda nos Separe (Spain, 2020), directed by Dani de la Orden. Marina is a thirty-something who makes a living organizing weddings. Unlike her clients, she enjoys a life without ties or commitments, until one night she meets Carlos, one more affair for her and a moment of weakness for him. Because he has a girlfriend. The Alex Garcia cycle continues with La Punta del Iceberg, a Spanish thriller film released on April 25, 2016. Directed by David Canovas it is the story of a large multinational company shaken by the suicide of three of its employees. Sofía Cuevas is in charge of carrying out an internal report and in her encounters with the workers she will discover abuses of power, hidden lies and a sick work environment. Finally the cycle closes with Si yo Fuera Rico, a comedy that presents Santi, a young man with economic problems and a disorganized life, especially because of the divorce he is about to experience with his wife. With everything, one day he decides to enter the world of the lottery and, from one day to the next, he becomes rich. However, life will not be solved for him at once.
