VIENDOMOVIES CELEBRATES MAY 5 AND ACTRESS VALERIA BERTUCCELLI

MIAMI, Fl., April 2023 - ViendoMovies, the channel owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group) that programs the best films produced in Spanish, 24 hours a day and without commercial breaks, presents a month of May full of novelties that will give its audience a unique opportunity to enjoy recognized productions and celebrate significant dates. The channel presents this month a selection of films in celebration of May 5 (5 de Mayo, Mexican holiday celebrated by the audience of this important community), as well as the opportunity to appreciate the filmography of Argentine actress Valeria Bertuccelli, this added to the usual novelties of each weekend.





On May 5, when the victory of the Mexican army over France in the Battle of Puebla in 1862 is celebrated, the channel programs a collection of Mexican films starting at 5 pm with the film El Estudiante (2009), winner of several Silver Goddess Awards; followed at 7 pm with La Cuarta Compañía (2016), awarded with several Ariel awards and at the Guadalajara Festival; at 9 pm with Siete Años de Matrimonio, winner of the Film Press Award in Mexico; at 11 pm with the film 8 de cada 10 (2018), recognized with Ariel Awards and closing at 1 am with the film El Viaje de Keta (2018). This programming reiterates the channel's commitment to the culture of one of the most important communities in the United States.


This month ViendoMovies also celebrates the career of Argentine film and television actress Valeria Bertuccelli, born in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Province of Buenos Aires, on November 30, 1969. Valeria Bertuccelli has a filmography of more than 20 productions, coupled with a fruitful television career. The actress has been recognized with several Condor Awards, Sur Awards and awarded as best actress in events such as the Malaga Film Festival in Spanish. The cycle of this renowned talent of cinema begins on Sunday 7 at 9 pm with the famous comedy Me case con un Boludo (2016), continuing on Sunday 14 with the hilarious film Ni un hombre Mas, on the 21st with the production Vino para Robar , comedy winner of the Lleida festival and ending on Sunday 28 with the film Un Novio para mi Mujer.


This stellar month of May culminates with the premieres of outstanding films such as Hasta que la boda nos separe, Matar a Pinochet and Sector VIP. Hasta que la boda nos separe (2020), starring Belén Cuesta, Álex García and Silvia Alonso is a comedy that tells the story of Marina, a thirty-year-old who makes a living organizing weddings. She meets Carlos, one more affair for her and he has a girlfriend: Alexia, Marina's childhood friend. This triggers entanglements of all kinds. Matar a Pinochet (2020) is a drama film directed by Juan Ignacio Sabatini and released in 2020. It stars Daniela Ramírez, Cristián Carvajal, Juan Martín Gravina and Gabriel Cañas. It tells the story of Ramiro and Tamara, who together with their comrades in arms decide to make an assassination attempt against Pinochet, dictator of Chile between 1973 and 1989. Sector VIP (2021) starring Luis Machin and Martina Krasinsky, closes the news of a stellar month in terms of the ViendoMovies’ movie offer.
