ONE WAY, REPRESENTATIVE OF VENEZUELA AT THE GOYA AWARDS, PREMIERES THIS SATURDAY IN VIENDOMOVIES



MIAMI, Fl., October 2022 –ViendoMovies, the 24-hour-a-day Spanish-language movie channel without commercial breaks, owned by SOMOSTV (company chaired by Luis Villanueva and part of SOMOS Group), presents the exclusive premiere of the film One Way this Saturday, October 29. This film, directed by Carlos Daniel Malavé, produced by SOMOS Films and Rodando Films, and starring Daniela Alvarado, was selected to be presented at the Goya Awards as a representative of Venezuela, in this important event of cinema in Spanish.


Daniela Alvarado, a popular actress with extensive filmography and television experience, represents Emiliana, a mother and university professor who is going through a difficult time in her life when her son Santiago suffers an accident, in a nation where the health system is precarious. Her depression wins her day by day and she doesn't want to continue. At this time she receives great support from a man she met on the street, Daniel (José Manuel Suárez) and she begins to feel great appreciation for him. However, her situation with her son and her national crisis make her decide to embark on a new life outside the country and rebuild her life, despite the fact that she must get away from Daniel.


One Way is part of the channel's programming strategy, which promotes and presents a selection of high-profile and quality film titles in the Hispanic market in the United States and Puerto Rico, from countries with the greatest tradition in the film industry of spanish cinema. Carlos Daniel Malavé, a director with an extensive filmography, has been nominated for important awards. His film Blindado was nominated by Venezuela for the Goya 2020 awards and won 2 awards from the Film Academy of his country. The film has also been nominated for the Hollywood Florida Film Festival, where it received the award for best feature film, and the Manhattan Film Festival, where it won the award for best international feature film.
